zanussi electrolux aqua cycle 1000 - bad odour?

my washing machine is just over a year old. Over the last few weeks there has been a very bad odour from the drum - like stale water. CLeaned out the filter and check pipes at back for blockage but all seems to be fine. anyone any ideas

hi if your ubend in the sink is slightly blocked the water from the sink runs into the washer this is usually the problem
