how can i get my brand new HP Deskjet to work?

Unplug it, take to the nearest balcony, and chuck it off. Please be careful not to hit anyone or any cars, and rejoice in your new found freedom from that particular frustration. Go and buy a different printer and keep your fingers crossed (and keep all receipts and packing materials).

check printers in control panel make sure tick on the correct printer as default

GOODMORNING. MY NAME IS STEVE CATALDI. I'M SORRY I CLICKED ON THIS PAGE, BUT I COULD NOT FIND CUSTOMER SERVICE OR CONNTACTUS. MY PROBLEM IS I HAVE AN HP DESK JET ALL IN ONE PRINTER AND IT WILL NOT PRINT. I BOUGHT IT IN DEC. 2006. HOWEVER WHEN I TEST THE PRINT INFORMATION FROM 4 OR 5 DAYS PRIOR WILL PRINTER.
