Remove the long red rotating plastic cover which covers the roller brush (when you want to use the hose), by gently prying it from the two ends. Dont pull too hard, or you may crack it. After removing, there are two screws on one side. Remove these screws, and the small side panel will pop off, allowing you to access the roller and replace the belt.
