I rarely deal with Matsui equipment but the connection should be Scart Socket (sometimes marked VCR) on Digibox to Scart (AV-Input) on VCR. Make sure both scart plugs are pushed in firmly. Select AV with your video remote and record.
So, if that doesn't seem to work....first, if there are two scart sockets on the VCR, check that it's an AV "INPUT"/Output socket you connect to, as sometimes when there are two scart sockets, one of two maybe just an "Output".
Otherwise, check Video Output setting in the Digibox menu and try switching it to "Video" output, if its on "RGB" at the moment.
If all else fails try a different Scart Lead.
Also, on Digibox's with modulators (cheap ones may not have this), you can connect to the VCR with a basic RF cable and tune a spare channel on your VCR to the digibox RF output. Sometimes the modulator output has to be switched on, again this is within the Digibox's menus. Look for "RF output" and ensure its set between RF21-69.
