why does my astra 2.0l junp out of hear?

my 2.0l vauxhall astra jumps out of gear their is also a whineing noise in all gears what is the cause of the proble,.

Sounds to me like some teeth are worn! To have the gearbox rebuilt would cost quite alot, it may be easier to purchase a second hand gearbox. Or alternatively, I may be interested in buying the car from you as it is. If you are interested in selling it give me a call on 07967 811486. I am in the midlands.
