I have had this unit since 2003 with absolutely no trouble at all. Over the last two days I went to play a CD and it refuses to play! First it says "No Disc." It also comes up "CO2 and NO PLAY" I have no children, the sterio is kept in a locked cabinet in a safe and dry condition, where it has been since 2003. It is hardly ever used! I've tried it since with different CD but the same thing happens every time. Does anybody know how to fix this/where and cost, please? Would be grateful for any help...Much thanks

my stacking system has been stored for 2 years wired it up yesterday and played a cd fine.put it on today and after 3 secs the volume stops.i see on the equaliser that the disc is still playing but no sound.??????

i had the same problem, so i got it serviced. 3 years later the same problem happened again. i spent £130 to do this. if you could get a new part then it might be cheaper.

I'm having same problem with my unit SL-DV280 took it to a repairer who recommended getting a replacement unit as it would be cheaper than fitting a new reader lens unit .

You should get it serviced, this should cost around £30. There are a few things that could be wrong, such as dust on the cd/dvd lense reader, or the lense reader could of been knocked out of position. Try getting it serviced first though
