can`t get my hi fi to work?

I have just bought a Technics hi fi system (SE - HD 501 stereo amp, ST - HD 501 stereo tuner, RS - HD 501 stereo cassette deck, SL HD 501 compact disc player and speakers). The sound is muffled on the cassette and CD player, the FM aerial looks like it needs a special plug, there is no instruction manual, can you help.

If you had listened to it before you bought it, you would have found these problems. Never buy electrical items in future, unless you can see/hear them working. It looks like you've bought a load of rubbish and wasted your money, simples
