Mend Thorn M56/76B Central Heating Boiler Water

Thorn boiler, water heating ok, central heating not?

Our boiler is a Thorn M56/76B which is number on boiler, we have a problem with central heating, all starts up ok but then shuts down even the pilot light after short period. We have no problem with the water heating side. Can anyone help please?.

hi anita i had exactly the same problem about 5 yrs ago with my thorn boiler the thermostat (controls the temp) mine was in the hallway i had it replaced problem solved (new thermostat fitted)
