Hi mate
this may seem like a silly suggestion but try taking out the rear tail/brake bulbs. I had this fault on my ford ranger and i traced the fault to a bulb running power back to the dash. If the problem dissappears when the bulbs are out then change them and clean the bulb holders aswell.

probably wrong bulb in rear brake light holder (single contact bulb in double contact holder)
