Burning rubber smell in my Frigidaire dryer?

There's a burning rubber smell coming from my Frigidaire Dryer model Gler331AS2. What do I need to check or do?

Hello,

Other than that does the dryer work ok? Does it take a longer time to dry clothes since noticing the burning smell? Not sure what type of smell you have but if your exhaust vent and/or lint screen are clogged with lint this could cause a burning smell and longer drying times. If it smells like rubber it may be that the belt is wearing out. Hope this helps.
