how to kick start a scooter?

ive just got a sanben scooter and it wont start with the electric start, the kick start is far to stiff to move and takes my weight, does it have to be in a paticular position

hi, this really does sound like your engine has seized up because the same thing happend to me ... this is your most likely problem, it shouldnt be too expensive to fix , it cost me around 50 quid ... good luck

sounds like you could either have a seized engine or the drive belt has broken and jamed up.
your best bet is to take the transmission cover off and check the belt is ok and see if you can turn the engine at the pully
