My wonderful Sony TC-D5M stopped working because the belt which takes up the tape broke. The right reel does not move
I can get a replacement belt and even have a service diagram but I would love to know if I should remove the top or bottom panel to get to the belt and what other parts to remove so I can replace the belt.
I would hate to make other problems by taking it apart willy-nilly.
Does someone know how to replace the belts on my Sony TC-D5m tape recorder step by step and in detail?

I have the same problem. But I do not know where I can get these belts.
