Mend Ariston Eurocombi Boiler Heating Thermostat

ariston eurocombi "cutting out"?

hi,can anybody help ! ariston combi probably about 5-6yrs old,it kept dropping pressure so i kept topping it back up to 1bar,no probs for ages then it started again you could hear what i think was the pump when it hit low pressure,but now it ignites for about 5secs an then cuts out an throws the little red pressure light on.if started from cold it works up to a certain temp i think so could it be the thermostat or something ?? any help much appreciated before i have to ring a plumber.

if its still leaking outside you need a new prv (pressure relief valve).

hi,pressure keeps dropping to zero the water running out of the heating system return,is that the overflow what runs outside?i keep letting water back in to between 1-1an a half bar when running it is usually about 2.this happened before coz the house sat empty for about 2yrs,but now i have to keep refilling coz slowly seems to be draining again.is set now at just under 2bar but cutting out after 5secs
