spongey brakes?

the brakes on my 2001 leganza cdx are very spongey, they have been bled, rear discs and pads changed still the same. is this normal for this model

No sounds like the sytem needs to be power bleed .....on some of the newer models it takes a scanner to perform bleeding sytem ...
