My Indesit shakes violently when spining?

Just had the same problem with my daughters machine,in this case it was the wheel that turns the drum one of the spokes had cracked. Hope this helps you.

Check the springs that secure the internal part of the machine to the outer frame, make sure they are all still attached or unbroken.

or

Can you 'rock' the drum with your hands, if so, you may have bearing wear & therefore the drum will not spin in a central position & the machine will become unstable during the spin cycle.

or

Have you moved house recently & forgotten to remove the 'transit bracket'? This will make the machine rigid.
