PCB?? Glow worm Micron 50FF?

we have a glowworm micron boiler. it doesnt lite when switched on at first, usually we have to reset it about 10 times to get it working. any ideas what the fault maybe

no he couldnt have changed the pcb. all new micron pcb's have green lights no matter if there is a problem or not.

The lights are there to show the boiler is working or resetting or they indicate a fault.With mine the thermistor went so the left green light flashed slowly and the right green light flashed fast so looking in the manual under faults this sequence means thermistor no good.Have you a manual?down load off internet or I bought a cd of ebay with all Glow Worm boiler mauals on.

mu glow wrorm boiler runs ok during the day time when i need hot water but in the morning when i need it most it doesnt come on. It shows reset button flasshing.Then i have to wait few hours and then try to turn it on and it comes on. what should i do

I see you having problems with your boiler and when you have someone to have a look your boiler ,doesnt matter what they do , you always ask to leave faulty part behind that way you know its been changed or not . with faulty boilers we do test on them before we change any part to make sure its the right part been replaced . its diffucult to say whats wrong with without seen boiler however if PCB has been replaced faulty lights should not come on as we normally have to reset new PCB for boiler ,ofcourse if its not been install correctly in first place ,engineer easy broken new one as well

We have had this boiler for the last 6 years and has given us nothing but trouble. We are on our third motherboard replacement. With these boilers the burner is very close to the pcb and burns it out. Our old pcb used to have orange lights but the new one we had installed a year ago now has green lights, we were told that they had changed the design of the pcb because of the above problem. But last night the boiler went out and will not come back on again. Waiting now for a plumber!! But this time we refuse to spend any more money on it and are going to replace it!

dont know alot about boilers but i know in most machine systems Green meens go(ok) call a couple of reputable companys and ask for a free quote to repair your boiler. u dont need to get them to repair it but you will probibly find out who or what is at fault
