My indesit IDL500 dishwasher wont start?

I had a similar problem and called someone out.I watched him and all he did was pull the dishwasher out and tilt it forward and some water ran out from underneath.He said there is a tray to catch any leaking water and if there is water leaking there is a safety cut out.He tightened a nut inside on the floor of the washer and since then beeen ok.Worth a try.
