How can I fix my cda cw448 dishwasher?

Hi, the on / off switch on the unit has broken and when pressed comes away from its casing. Tried to fix it but it's no good.
Not sure if it's just the on / off switch alone or the whole unit.

My Cw448 Dishwasher is not taking in water, we have removed the black plastic tray and its fine, we have checked the water coming in thats fine, the pump sounds like its working but we cant find any blockages. What can it be?

If the dishwasher is stuck in the middle of a programme you can reset it by holding down the programme select button for about 10 seconds.
If the diswasher does not complete its wash cycle because it does not take in any water, it wil be because the auto cut off "anti flood" switch is operated. This switch is accessible from underneath the dishwasher. There is a large black plastic tray underneath which unclips to remove. You will find that it has been full of water, ( it isn't now because you have tipped the machine on its back). The water in he tray was holding the anti flood switch operated. This stopps the machine taking in water. The switch is operated by a large polystyrene disc which floats in the tray and operates the switch. Check all of the pipes for leaks. My input pipe had become loose and disconnected, causing the leak. All I had to do was reconnect the pipe. Hope this helps.
