Can i fix my Proscan 27 inch television?

One day i was watching tv when it went black. When the picture came back it was going off the sides. I couldnt see the whole thing, i couldnt see what channel iwas on because the number went off the screen and when i put it in input it cut of the s-video word at the bottom so it just said "ideo". Is this fixable or should i just buy a new tv?
