How can I fix my Proscan television?

My tv turned off (Proscan PS35150) and won't come on. You could here it "click" when you tried to turn it on and nothing would happen. I had the repair man out, he re-soldered different areas that are usually problematic, but thinks it's the transformer. I need this TV to last me at least one more year. Anyone know where I can find help in SE Kentucky? The repairman won't call me back now!

I am having the exact same problem. We were watching the Proscan and suddenly the TV shut down and appeared to have lost all power. It will not turn on. What did you do to correct this

I have two proscans and my 27" had the same problem. After I did some research I found it to be a problem on the soldering job done on the circuit board. I hear that this seems to be a problem with alot of proscans turning off and on randomly or not turning back on at all. I resoldered the board and havent had a problem since.
