for a picture of the appliance. I would like to know how to extend the cord that is connected to the base of the appliance and extends to the hieght of the light. The reason for this is to allow more room for my plants to grow. Your thoughts?
Lee, i did this myself. bought a extension from a computer recycle shop . cut off the female end that plugs into the AroeG light. Spliced the computer cord to the AeroG cord. Put on Black tape for water proofing. Plugged in=D. any questions just ask.

Lee Cherry , i have the same question for the same reason. I have an Aero-G and will soon need to extend the built in cord too. I want to avoid splicing it . I have sent email to a number of DIY electronics place and am waiting for replies. You posted this over a year ago. I'm wondering what your outcome was. I will likely put the light on a shelf bracket that is adjustable for height. What did you do? PEACE
