It's been several months since you posted your answer and you probably already know what I'm about to say, but if you're still interested, you can fix it. I had the same problem with mine and it turned out to be a relatively easy and common fix.

Get the model no. off your machine and take the part with you so you'll be able to match it at the nearest appliance parts store. It is a clear plastic tube that acts as a check-valve in the water supply line to the washing machine. The check-valve's housing ages and eventually cracks making replacement neccessary.

The appliance part store I went to in the chicago area had it in stock as it is routinely requested. It's a fairly simple swap and doesn't require any fancy tools. Just take out the old one, go get the part for around ten bucks and put it in. It's a fast fix and you'll be up and running in no time flat. Hope this helped ya.
