Why does my Kenmore Calypso washer stop and flash the Ld code?
Originally my washer had been stopping in the middle of a load and flashing the FL code, it was also making noise.The repair man said it was the pump so I replaced it today and now it no longer whines or flashes FL but it now stops in the middle of a load and flashes the DL code. What should I check out or attempt in order to remedy this problem? It's very frustrating and it is beginning to tick me off. Thanks for any input can give me.
The "FL" Code means "Overfill". Basically, the pump has failed due to something getting stuck in it like a baby's sock, bra underwire, etc. A repair man can try to unclog it, but it will cost you a few hundred to replace it if it's too clogged.
