My ariston wash machine is leaking through the door. Help?!?

Hi Jane, We have an ariston margherita and the filter is behind the plinth panel at the base (front) of the machine, yours may of course be different. If it's the same you need to MAKE SURE THE MACHINE HAS FINISHED AND IS EMPTY, then carefully ease the top edge of the plinth towards you using a screwdriver to release it (if it is old it may be brittle so go careful) You should then find the filter which has a round cover and is released by turning anti-clockwise.Put some towels down to catch the water.
