Mend Citroen Berlingo 1.9D Steering Reverse Noise

citreon berlingo 1.9D 1997?

when steering mainly in reverse it is stiff and also a clunking noise is heard when straighting the wheels but can also be heard on occassions when in forward motion while turning

hi there, to me it sounds like the springs are moving in their mounts. possibly the top mount bearing is seized.
