Mend Halstead 40H Boiler Heating Thermocouple

Halstead 40H boiler pilot keeps going out?

With the Halstead 40H boiler (1985) the pilot light was always problematic for staying lit if the wind blew directly onto the balanced flu.

Was there ever a modification to improve this? The rest of the boiler remains fine.

Cleaning the pilot jet and burner, and replacing the thermocouples never resolves the problem.
