how can i fix my ceramic hob glass top?

glass top smashed on my ceramic hob .no model name but there is a small k etched into top left corner.glass measures 47.5 cm x 49cm 4 rings etched into glass

I had a similar problem when I smashed the glass on my ceramic hob. After many phone calls and Emails I discovered that the glass is very expensive (£500 a sheet)! As a result I found it was cheaper to buy a new hob.
