Prime a cargo 1013 1987?

Hi Iv got a Ford cargo 1013 1987 (E reg) Iv just done a filter change on her an cleaned the glass bowl out (the big bowl) that’s between the tank an lift pump I have tried to start it after pumping the hand primer a few times but won’t start!! How do I go about bleeding the system
