1989 ford cargo/iveco?

thanks for info on cargo/ iveco richard it was built as a cable laying veh for bt originally then converted to a horsebox lorry now it is a motorhome 95 per cent fin project just need bit more acceleration not too worried bout breakin landspeed records in it lol

Sounds about right for an 0609 Cargo. Mine takes its time to get up to speed and then runs nicely around 45 to 50 mph. Perhaps your back axel has a fairly low ratio which could have some effect on top speed. Was your vehicle a tipper in a previous life as they often had low ratio axels for the type of work they were involved in.
