Mend Carver 4000fanmaster

Heater?

Carver 4000fanmaster heater ßwitched on itself and control switch won't turn it off. Have tried lifting front cover and right side is free on lifting left, switch side, won't lift and don't want to force it.
OBVIOUS switch fault
