boiler analogue timer fuse change?

Hi all, the analogue timer stopped working and I can see that there are 3 little wires at the back of it, one had come lose. Is there a way of putting this little thing back in some special way or do I need to get a new clock altogether and replace this?

Thanks,

J.

Hi Ehrueus,

It's a Glow Worm, Flexicom 24cx. The timer is one of those that drops from underneath the boiler at a touch, so it's built in (but an analogue one).

Although I didn't mention they are black, the 3 little wires at back of it are in fact black and I guess each one controls each one of the functions of the timer (on/off/timer). This means that the wire which controls the clock moving/timer is the one that had come out of its' place since the boiler can be either fully turned on or off, but the clock isn't moving.

I just wondered if it was possible somehow to insert the wire that came out back in or would I need to buy a new clock/ timer instead to be installed.

Thanks,

Julie

What is the "little black thing"?

Where is the timer? Built into boiler casing? Separate (mounted on the wall)

Where does the "fuse" in your title come into things? That's the only place it is mentioned.

Make and model of timer?
Make and model of boiler?

Are you competent to do any work on this safely?
