How do I fix the driver's seat height adjustment lever as it is loose?

How do I fix the driver's seat height adjustment lever as it is loose.
It still works but it's loose and may fall off.
I went into Nissan and they said it may not be covered under the warranty and just to look at it would be £126!!
I want to avoid paying this as it's only an adjustment to the lever
