Mend Murray 10.5 HP Riding Mower Lawn Blade

Murray 10.5 HP riding mower?

Murray 10.5 HP riding mower. Threw drive belt and replaced with new one but when tried to mow and lowered deck to appropriate height it throws the belt. Re-installed and activated blade at uppermost height and worked OK. When lowered to cutting height it throws the belt.
