i use the bike almost every day but the battery keeps
going flat after a couple of weeks.

you need to get the charging circuit checked by a shop it will be either the generator or the regulator/rectifier that is the problem thats providing the chinese have made the wiring loom right !as i have seen it b4 when the have cocked it up on a jianshee scooter.
