ilve oven alarm keeps going off?

I have contacted Ilve who want to send a repair technician at great expense. I think it's a VAC 240. Any other ideas?

For some reason you seem to think we don't need to know the model.

That said it sounds as if your timer might be on the way out. Depending on the model (which you didn't mention) you may be able to get a replacement.

You could search for ilve spares and find the likely trade suppliers.

You could try EBay once you have a model number
