how can i fix my fisher and paykel smart drive 051?!?

My washing machine will not fill with water. It turns on fine but when you press start a quick burst of water goes into the machine, and then there is pause followed by a another quick burst of water. After this there is another pause and then the machine beeps to signal that there is a problem. One day i persevered with it unitl enough water was in the machine to do a small load thinking that it was only a problem getting the water into the machine, however when it was washing it only washed for about one minute before it stopped and started beeping.

We put it on spin mode and it worked fine
