Mend Machine Drain Removed

The cycle is very long and machine does not drain well?

The washing cycle is very long and the clothing is very wet when removed from the machine. How can I regulate the cycle?

Some machines have protection against uneven loads causing too much vibration and so won't always spin at full speed. They keep trying to spin with some tumbling in between. They tend to give up eventually after what appears to be a greatly extended cycle, leaving the clothes quite wet.

Check the drain hose is clear and not kinked

Check the drain pump is clear and clean ( Refer to your manual or find one on line - Hint: You will need to give the make and model to find a manual, which you didn't bother with here.)
