Hotpoint hob stopped working after power cut?

Now when switched on it bleeps shows H, flashes H even when switched off, once did this before after power cut and started to work weeks later! Disconnected wire still not working after reconnected. Will start to boil water for about 30 secs but then all lights flash either 3 lines or H.
