Mend Beaumatic Turn Time Wait

Everytime I turn my Beaumatic cook top on it goes to lock. ?

Every time I turn the cook top on it goes to lock (what you turn it on to clean it). You have to wait a few mins to turn off. Turn it on again and it repeats. This is getting very frustrating! It is only 2 months old.
