Air Polution Fault - Peugeot 406Hdi 110 Rapier 03?

My car stops without any warning and Air Polution Fault warning appears. Car restarts after key is removed and replaced after a few minutes. Car runs for a while but when I put my foot down engine stalls and same warning comes on.
