Ferroli Hawk 2 - Air Pressure switch?

There are two flexible pipes connected to the Air pressure switch(APS). Top one clear, bottom one red. Central heating(CH) works with both connected. And the hot water works when the CH is on. But the hot water runs cold when the CH is not being used. However, when you remove the clear flexible pipe from the APS, the hot water works.
