How can I un snap door hinge?

I have just resolved a cooker door issue - I used hand force but wore gardening gloves to protect my hands.

Your hinges have very probably got into the operating position and need to be closed and locked so that the door may be reinstalled.

Force the sprung piece down and latch it - easier said than done because it will require heavy pressure.
