Beko dwd 4311 s won't start at all ?

My dishwasher is 4-5 yrs old, it looks like it possibly didn't drain properly last time as there is a small amount of standing water in it. There's no life in the control panel when I press the ON button, it's completely dead (I've checked the socket and plug). The stops on the top basket also snapped off at the back, but I've ligned the basket up properly and the door shuts fine. Any thoughts ?
