Mend Aquatronic 2 plus 10 Minutes Engine

How can I fix my Aquatronic 2 plus electric shower?

The temperature is fine for about 10 minutes then a click and quiet engine noise(like it's trying to control temp) then goes scorching hot then cold. Is there a thermostat problem/replacement needed?
Ps I am in a very hard limescale area and am having to clean showers head out every day
