Mend Aquatronic Running Week Fine Runs

Why is my Aquatronic 2 Ultra now running lukewarm?

I have an Aquatronic 2 ultra that up until a week ago was working fine, it now runs lukewarm at the previous setting used and has to be turned all the way round to the hottest setting to get any heat which reduces the flow rate to a trickle, what is the problem?
