Mend Reebok ZR10 Treadmill Fitness Safety

Speed Control Not Working?

I have a Reebok ZR10 Treadmill, used for walking only as I'm 85!
Recently it has started to suddenly accelerate for no reason at all and throws me back, thus utilising the safety disc.
Can you advise on problem and necessary repairs.
