First you need to understand the symptoms - you do not say here so it's difficult to offer help.

Just what is the boiler doing - or not doing?
What makes you say the Room Thermostat is not working?
Might it be that both boiler and thermostat are working but the boiler is ignoring the thermostat?
Are things too hot or too cold?
