Mend Bosch Washer Dryer Drain Filter

Filter stuck how can I undo this ?

I have a Bosch washer dryer and for some reason I cannot get it open, I have managed before, but stuck now, how can I get this open, I've used a small hammer moved a bit but broke some of the opener, how can I get this open wiv out brakin it more. Also the machine won't drain or spin why????
