foul cabbage like smell from inside of drum Bosch Maxx2260 ?

When this happens in our house the smell originates in the drains - there is no U Bend smell trap on a washing machine drain pipe so the smell of foul water can enter the house - the foul air collects in the drum.

If you have an outside drain inspection pit then lift the cover and have a look.
