Renault traffic 1.9d?

Hi can some one help got a renault traffic 1.9d running well but started playing up riggled a few wires and bang all lights lit up in dashboard dropt the tank and see no power coming to pump run a wire to terminals on pump and pump running so no it ant the pump any ideas why i am getting no power to pump when motor is turning over had rac out pluged there computer in but unfortuantly hes computer would not clear the faults please help as nat this motor wont even try to start any ideas please would this be a sensor ?
